My grandfather is a very elegant gentleman and has a impressive wardrobe, a few weeks ago gave me few suits, at first I thought it was a joke, but my mother encouraged me to take them to a tailor to adjust it as mine. An office colleague recommended i visit Steliana.

I went straight to the tailor shop after making an appointment and they in a very short time did an excellent job at a resonable price. I’m very happy with my suits, the seamstress said it is a top fabric and that i now look as elegant as my grandfather.

Gladly recommend this work shop to all my friends and colleagues.

I had taken a pair of trousers to be taken in and rather than trying them on and allowing Mariana to Pin them I brought another pair of already tailored trousers which I was happy with and asked her to match them (because I was too lazy to get pinned).

She matched them to the last millimetre, I was stunned at how well she did the job after having bad experiences with other drycleaner tailors. Once I took them home and tried them on they opened slightly at the calf, this was my own fault as I had bulked (gym) up since I last wore the tailored trousers she used to match. She took them back happily and double stitched them without charge and then offered me a discount on separate pair of trouser that I had given her (this time I let her pin them).

She has done a wonderful job albeit with tapering requests.

Steliana is a wonderful tailor, she is very nice and professional. I’ve tapered and hemmed 5 pairs of jeans at her service and she does a fantastic job. She has a high attention to details and knows to give great advice for alterations.

On top of that, her prices are the most reasonable you will find in London which is full of tailors who charge £35 for tapering and £25 for a hem.

Steliana will taper and hem your trousers for £25 and you will not regret.

 The hem on the back of my dress had busted and as the day progressed was slowly coming apart and moving further upwards! I did a quick google search for the nearest tailors and come across this little gem!

Mariana was so helpful and was able to stitch my dress up there and then (even if it did mean standing there in my underwear – I was desperate!) for the small fortune of £5. She even gave my dress a once over with the iron.

The location is unusual and a bit hard to find, as it is located in a multipurpose ofice building and Steliana Tailoring occupy a room on the first mezzanine level. Nevertheless, they have everything they need, including a small changing room.

A really great bijou personal service with amazingly good prices considering its central location. Mariana, the proprietor, has an eye for menswear, gives friendly advice and takes pains to answer any/all questions.

Her off-the-high-street studio is compact but relaxed and has decent-sized changing facilities which gives you the confidence to get your gear measured and pinned properly. (It’s also worth noting that the business is in a pleasant locale just behind the Bank of England. A nice place to visit all round).

As a male customer, after trying out several other East End outfits, I’ll be using Steliana for all my suit, shirt, jacket and coat alterations from now on. And get down there sharpish before all of East London discovers this gem!
